    Rememberance
I had come from a long line of sailors and fishermen on both sides of my family. This is how we made our money and were paid handsomely by certain merchants and traders over the years. Sometimes, we would allow some travelers to board, (as long as they were paying), to go to places where we were expected. (I had done this as well into my adulthood when I had procured my own ship). I was the only child for my mother and father, so I was quite spoiled when it comes down to it. I had a very happy childhood, and was always grateful that I was born into the family that I was. My parents believe in educating me in everything that they could, from history, to the arts, from music to languages, philosophies, mathematics, and science. What I really loved was sailing. I knew that I would grow up and be a great sailor someday. I had even fantasized about being Jason of the tales of Jason and the Argonauts and thought I would sail the whole world round. I would go on adventures just as grand, and perhaps, someday, my name would be as great as his, and that people of different lands and cultures would have stories about me, my crew, and the trials and tribulations we had been through. I laugh now when I think back on it. So, I reveled in what I did. I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed going to locations, meeting new people, learning about different cultures and sight seeing. I liked trying new foods and wines and studying new languages, which made everything a hell of a lot easier to get around and get business for my ship, the Ambrosine.

    Life was pleasantly grand.
